GENERAL INFORMATION
ZIRCAR Reticulated Alumina Hearth Posts are rigid highly porous rods and shapes of fine grain dense alumina ceramic. An off-shoot of superalloy casting technology from the aerospace industry, these hearth posts offer low thermal conductivity and excellent strength. They are routinely used as support posts in floors and hearths of many ZIRCAR Furnace Insulation Modules and Insulation Assemblies.

ZIRCAR reticulated alumina is available in a variety of sizes, shapes and pore sizes.
