Alumina Castable Type ZIRALCAST-95
GENERAL INFORMATION
ZIRCAR Alumina
Castable Type ZIRALCAST-95 is a high -purity, extra-high alumina
refractory castable composed primarily of pure fused alumina bubbles. The lightweight fused alumina bubble
aggregate incorporated in it provides low thermal conductivity along with
excellent chemical stability.
ZIRALCAST-95 utilizes the highest quality hydraulic bonding agents available, resulting in uniform water usage and set times. The high alumina hollow spheres and cement particles are precisely controlled to yield maximum strength and result in refractory bodies that give long life in a range of applications.
ZIRALCAST 95 can be used in a variety of applications such as furnace doors, covers and hot face insulation. It is a conventional castable refractory designed to be installed using typical concrete placement techniques. See "ZIRALCAST-95 Mixing and Casting Guidelines" for more information.
